Spatial Interaction that Motivates Physical Activity in the Workplace

Due to sedentary lifestyles, physical activity is widely promoted in the workplace. In this paper, we present HealthQuest, a mixed-reality system to motivate employees’ physical activity in their workplace. By taking a few extra minutes for their usual walk to the coffee machine or trip to the restroom, employees achieve the recommended 30 minutes of physical activity per day.
